Jennifer Kissner is the Director of Global Trade Compliance for Newell Brands – Jarden Group. Jennifer directs global import and export compliance processes and supply chain security. Her span of responsibility includes developing, managing and implementing worldwide trade compliance strategy, programs and projects to ensure compliance with U.S. government export and import regulations, U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations, as well as government regulations in other global locations.
Jennifer began her career with IBM’s International Trade and Logistics division. After 12 years she left IBM and joined Flextronics International as their Global Import Compliance Manager. While at Flextronics she was promoted to the Director of Global Trade Compliance expanding her responsibilities to both Global Import and Export compliance. Jennifer is as an accomplished Trade Compliance professional with over 20 years of import /export compliance and supply chain security experience. She has a BS in Business Management and an MBA from The University of Phoenix, she is a licensed US Customs broker since 2001 and a member of the International Compliance Professional Association.
Ken McElroy serves as Manager of Global Trade Risk for The Home Depot. Ken leads the Global Security Verification program as well as a growing export operation and compliance program. Ken’s previous experience includes 32 years of progressive responsibility managing nearly every supply chain business discipline; including cross border operations, supply chain security, supply and demand planning, display packaging and manufacturing operations all with Colgate Palmolive.
Lisa has been with Target for 16 years, and held a variety of supply chain positions prior to moving to her current role. As Director of Global Trade Services, she is responsible for the customs and trade compliance activities for one of the country’s largest importers. Lisa’s team oversees partnership programs including; Importer Self-Assessment (ISA) and Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program.
Patricia Cerisano is Global Customs & Trade Compliance Manager at Husky Injection Molding Systems, the world’s largest brand name supplier of injection molding equipment and services to the plastics industry. Patricia has been with Husky for over 17 years, where she has held various Customs & Trade Compliance positions during her tender. Her global responsibilities include; Customs and Trade Compliance teams in Canada, USA, Luxembourg, Latin America, India, Japan and China as well as managing Husky’s global C-TPAT and Customs Security programs.
Patricia joined Husky from Spar Aerospace, where she was Customs & Traffic Coordinator. Patricia holds the professional certification of a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) from the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers, and she holds certificates in Logistics from the Canadian Institute of Traffic &Transportation, and in Purchasing from Humber College, where she also holds a degree in Business Administration.

Lesa is the manager of several programs that fall under the Trade Compliance department. Her span of responsibilities include but are not limited to; CTPAT, Patriot Act and AML Direct Imports, IPR education for CBP and Port of Entry Security Process as well as, classifying all private brand and direct import merchandise for the Children’s division, Home division and Toys. Lesa has been with the JCPenney Company for 28 years. Her responsibilities have ranged from international sourcing, exports, social responsibility, customs and compliance.
Ryan Klath is a Senior Manager for Global Trade Security at Target. He has been with the company for 11 years having spent most of his time in product safety & quality assurance working with toys and pet products. He moved to his current position in 2016 managing Target’s CTPAT program.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in Quality Management and is a licensed customs broker.
Yvettee Estrada serves as the Senior Director of Global Trade Compliance for Trinity Industries, Inc. Yvettee has 20 years of experience in customs and trade compliance and has worked within several industries: retail, manufacturing and customs brokerage operations. In her current role she leads the customs and trade compliance strategies for all of Trinity’s import and export activities.
Donna is the Team Lead for Vendor Compliance and Global Security Programs for the FGL Sports, Intersport North America (INA) and Mark’s business units of the Canadian Tire owned Family of Companies. Donna is a Seneca College alumna, has a diploma in Law Enforcement and 22 years of security experience the last 11 of which have been with Canadian Tire. Donna was responsible for the development and implementation of Canadian Tire’s Vendor Security Compliance Program including their certification in the CTPAT and PIP programs. In 2014 Donna moved over to the FGL Sports division where her primary focus has been expanding the Vendor Security Compliance program to the FGL, INA and Mark’s business units.
Troy Haynes is the Manager of Global Trade Services at Lowe’s Companies. He has been with Lowe’s for 17 years and held a variety of supply chain positions prior to moving to his current role. In his current role, Troy and his team are responsible for origin operations, customs brokerage operations and global supply chain security for one of the country’s largest importers.
Dave’s career background includes 5 years as the VP Global Security Operations including managing the company’s global supply chain security program. While in this role, Dave participated as one of the founders of SCAN, becoming the first Board Chair. Prior to his role in Security Operations, Dave was one of the VP General Counsels at Walmart where he supervised a legal team supporting Ethics and Global Security divisions. Previous to Walmart, he spent 30+ years with IRS-Criminal Investigation Division and the US Department of Justice (Criminal Division) working on and supervising financial crimes prosecutions. During this same period, Dave remained in the military reserve compo net, retiring in 2010. He was very fortunate to rejoin SCAN in August of 2018 as Executive Director. SCAN has always had a special place in his professional life. As the Executive Director, he will be the daily go to source to assist the Board, members, and BSI in managing supply chain-related issues and facilitating resolutions.
Summer is currently an Administrative Assistant/Project Coordinator for SCAN Association. She is a nonprofit development practitioner with 15 years of experience working with various nonprofit organizations to help establish and implement fundraising and marketing strategies. Currently, Summer works with SCAN Association in support of its Board of Directors and Executive Director. She holds a bachelors in Mass Media from Henderson State University.
